Tonight we are leaving for Izu, so that there are lots of things to do during today.
At Sakiyama farm, we covered 3 furrows of potatoes by plastic film to prevent grasses. And wife scattered base fertiliser. And I cut grasses all around the farm to make it clear. It is kind of showing our attitude for agriculture to the neighbourhood.
And I drive the tractor to this farm and plow where wife scattered the base fertiliser. During my tractor work, wife watered for tomatoes in the hot house. Thus we finished everything we had to do.
Gotta go Shizuoka!

師匠から学んだもの

農家の5月は忙しい。
種を撒いたり、苗を植えたり、夏の収穫に向けて色々準備がある。更に表に見えない仕事がものすごくたくさんある。草刈、耕運、施肥、網張り等。米をしている農家は更に忙しい。

去年の今日師匠のところでの研修が始まった。この一年師匠の農業を見せてもらった。教わった中で、土つくり、が一番大事だと思う。師匠の土にはたくさんの生物が住んでいる。目に見えない微生物からアブラムシ、てんとう虫、名前の分からないいろんな虫、クモ、マカキリ、蟻、カエル、トカゲ、ミミズ・・・・。こいつらが師匠の野菜つくりを支えている。

Soil for young plant

We are growing not only tomato but also green pepper, cucumber, zucchini, egg plant and so on. They have grown alight.
The soil for growing young plant is mixed by myself. Sometimes I use soil which is from home centre near house. The difference of growth is can be recognised by anyone.

益虫の棲家

ハウスの斜め誘引設置が終わった。トマトは毎朝葉水で濡れている。これでいいのか分からないがどんどん大きくなっている。株の直径は平均60cmはある。
妻が受粉を頑張ってくれているお陰で着果数も増えてきた。
今日は畝上にモミガラとバークを敷いた。益虫の棲家になればいいと思う。
これからは畝の斜面に白黒マルチを張る。真夏までは黒を表に張り地温が上がりすぎる真夏には白を表に張ろうと思う。

Which do you relay upon, micro or macro?
If you choose micro, it means you relay upon the nuclear power plant and you eat the gene manipulation food.
If you choose macro, it means you relay upon the nature energy like solar power plant or wind power plant and you eat the organic food.
Now it is a time to choose.

斜め誘引

朝から妻と二人係りでトマトの二畝目の斜め誘引を完成させた。
斜め誘引の良いところは、資材が少なくてすむ、トマトの背を一定に保つことができるので作業が楽・暑い空気に晒さずにすむ、見た目がいけてる、点だと思う。
当たり前なんだろうけど、この技術は他の作物にも応用できるな。

Dismantle a chicken

I am going to guide how to dismantle a chicken at an event in a camp sight. The guests are the group of a company. I asked my master to observe for case.
I had a practice one time for today, but it was not enough, so that I asked master a few detail during the show.
But now I am sure I can handle it properly.

ベランダオーガニックを始めよう

トマトの苗を人に送ったり手渡したりして里子に出し始めた。
その時ウチで配合した有機肥料を同封している。それを使ってもらうと自宅で簡単に有機農業をしてもらうことができる。そういうのをベランダオーガニックと言う。ＨＰで栽培方法を紹介する準備を始めた。
苗が欲しい人は言って下さい。送ります。

My way

Ground is still wet, and it made me disappointed. But finally we finished to make a support for tomato. This way of support is what I saw in Shizuoka. It costs less than the other way and does not matter if tomatoes grow how tall.

浸水

雨

久しぶりに雨が強烈に降っている。お陰でハウスの畝間まで水に浸っている。僕がハウスの為に借りた田んぼは水はけは悪くないんだけど、上の田んぼから信じられないほど水が落ちてくる。ひどいときは畑全体が湖のようになる。
それではトマトの雨よけ栽培はできない。
とにかく排水を良くするため溝を掘りまくっている。

Support for tomatoes

My tomatoes needs a support. Tomato is basically grows up along the ground, it means it can not stand straight. Farmers made it stand straight for making harvesting easier.

There are a few way to make the support. I like to try one difficult way. It is too complicated to explain by my English. I like to upload its photo when I complete it.

出荷組合

出荷組合の打合せがある。
出荷組合は丹波市の有機農家なら誰もが参加でき、そこから大手消費者団体に出荷することができる。つまり就農初年度から農業収入を得る手段があるということだ。
誰もが参加できる事、買取数量が概ね事前に読める事、品質基準が設けられている事、が重要だ。こんな組織は今まで丹波市には無かった。

Got hair cut

It is like a Summer day.
I gotta drive to Osaka to get hair cut. My hair designer is a parson who is good at representation of the image. He is the best hair designer in my life.
I brought 3 young tomatoes for him. He accepted them and like to grow them as I expected. I like to start to guide the veranda organic, through him.

鶏の解体の練習

来週14日に鶏の解体の実演をするので予行練習をする。師匠から鶏を1羽分けてもらい自宅で始めるんだけど、うまく行かない。
解体の手順は頭に入っているんだけど、骨の構造が頭に入っていないので、剥がれやすい部分にうまく切り込みを入れることができなくて、剥がすところを引きちぎる感じになってしまう。
あまり練習の時間も無いので本番はうまくごまかそう。

There is always a person who revel the world. But the revolution does not happen often. Because each people starts from point zero. They should start where the predecessor died.

ビンラディン

酒は楽しいんだけど翌日つらい。

ビンラディンが2日に米軍に殺されたそうだ。オバマ大統領は、正義はなされた、と言っている。それはアメリカの都合としてはそうだろう。日本のメディアはビンラディン容疑者と呼びアメリカと近い目線で彼を捉えている。馬鹿な。
ビンラディンは国が違えばヒーローだろう。
2001年9月11日僕はドイツにいてそう思っていた。
アメリカはあの手この手を使って世界の利権を手にしている。強い国と世界中が分かっているのに更に強くなりたいらしい。かなり武力も使っている。人を殺して利権を得ているということだ。恨まれて当たり前だ。
アメリカを恨んでいる国の中で彼のような行動を取れる人間が育った。それに比べて日本はどうだ。原爆を落とされて国をメチャクチャにされているにもかかわらずアメリカと仲がいい。主従関係に近い仲の良さだ。
現在の物質社会の中心に立つアメリカは、欲を刺激し、満たし、大きくなった。多くのアメリカ国民は質の悪い借金を抱えサブプライムローンが破綻しリーマンショックが起こり世界恐慌が始まった。アメリカ人のマネーゲームが生み出したデリバティブという理解不能な金融商品に世界経済が破壊される。
ビンラディンはそんなアメリカが許せなかった。

Today's guests are Tex and his girl friend Mayumi. He is one on the share mates when I lived in Tohto guest house in Chiba.
He has an unique atmosphere. So that he seems to gather unique parsons. I think I am one of them.
His girl friend looks clever. She is very good at to control the topics and keep nice atmosphere.
They brought many things from city.

スタジオ

久しぶりの二日酔いで頭がガンガンするけどちゃんと起きてトマトに水をやりに行く。

12時から2時間だけ福知山のスタジオに入る。久しぶりに3人でスタジオに入る。半年ぶりくらいだろうな。
いつもの事ながら才能溢れる二人の胸を借りてセッションをする。ありがとう。
スタジオは音楽が好きそうな50前くらいのマスターが手作りで10年前に始めたそうだ。ライブハウスとカフェとスタジオが1つにおさまってる。ギターアンプはジャズコーとリバーブがいい感じのローランドがあった。
2時間では暖まった頃に終りを迎えるので短い。4時間くらいほしいな。

スタジオのあと二人は帰っていった。

I am going to drink today. I have not drunk for about 100days, but I like to drink with them, because it is the very rare occasion for us 3 get together. As Take lives in Osaka and Gyan lives in Hiroshima, and I live here.

Yamana's Sake was so fine, and it killed us all.

目標

一年前の今日ここに引っ越してきた。
記憶に残るのは冬の寒さだ。畑に積もった大雪を見て将来が不安になり、心身ともに冷えた。
自分が農家だと意識を始めたのは年が明けてトマトの苗を育て始めた頃だからごく最近だ。
この一年間に見聞きしたもので農家としての目標がほぼ出来上がった。
人が雇えるトマト農家になろうと思う。
雇うのだから年中仕事が無いといけない。そのために必要に応じてハウスを加温する。トマトの加工品として、ジュース、ソース、ピクルスを作る。
これだけできれば十分だ。有機をやっていれば仲間は必ずできるので売り先の展開はいくらでもある。
売り先としてやりたいのが、一流企業の社内販売をしたい。その時には、他の野菜農家と組んで野菜の種類を確保し、かわいいトートバッグを作って会員に配り、毎週定期的に野菜を持ち込んでそのトートバッグで持って帰ってもらう。なんて事がしたい。なんといっても日本人のほとんどが会社勤めなんだから、オフィス街に持っていって当然でしょ。
目標ができたら後は進むだけだ。
