こだわろう

ほうれん草を買ってくれたのはMさんと、言っていいよね、こだわろう、さんという西宮の門戸厄神近くの八百屋さんだ。昨日はそこに行った。
手作り感いっぱいの暖かいお店で、いい音楽が流れている。八百屋もできるしカフェでもできそうな雰囲気だった。取引始めの御礼に行ったはずがたくさんお土産を貰った。
納豆、薄揚げ、にんじん、みかん。全部上手かった。こだわってる。

Alive

Since I got renal insufficiency when I was 16, I have been watching how the kidney works. When I am too tired, it is also tired and I got a dull pain on it. There were a few times to fell like that since then. This time is the biggest.
I need to see very good doctor. I drive to Hyogo medical collage which has special section for kidney and artificial dialysis.
It took half day, but I felt the doctor was really professional, as he guessed rightly that I have low uric acid. He told me that rarely the anaerobic exercise on uric acid causes an acute renal insufficiency.
The result of the inspection, my kidneys work all right.
It brought me a peace in my mind, as I have been thinking about my soon death.

ほうれん草出荷

売り先のアテもなしにほうれん草と水菜をたくさん作ってしまった。旬だからあふれている。
ところがだ、助けてくれる人はいる。非常にありがたい。
特に今回のほうれん草は上手くできたと思うのでそれが分かってくれる人に引き取ってもらえて嬉しい。

Restore

Fuck. A door, the order made door does not fit the house. Fuck.
I gotta work for it.
I chiseled for hinges, shaved the frame, painted, chiseled for lock cylinder and fix the door closer. It took whole day.
On the same time, wife finished painting the living room.
Now the house is ready for new tenant.

壁塗り

妻の実家を人に借りてもらう。敷金礼金とか言う理不尽なものは貰いたくないのであまりお金をかけることはできないが、玄関のドア交換、居間・台所の壁塗りだけはすることにする。
今日は台所の壁塗りを完了させた。

Straw bale house

I have afew friend here. I visited one of them for dinner time.
He is making wheat. He has interested me because he chose this plant as he is going to build a straw bale house. Since I heard his will, I also like to have straw bale house.
However I like to start with small building. Probably I build a music studio very near future.

無鹿（ムジカ）

無鹿（ムジカ）という柏原町にあるしか料理専門店に行く。
去年の冬ウチの畑の鹿ネットに数等の鹿が捕まり、そのうち1頭をさばいてもらって肉を食べた。ところが、肉を食べるときに鹿の顔がちらつき、それから鹿肉が食べられなくなっていた。
のだが、今日の鹿は上手かった。
マスターは少しシャイなスッキリした男前で、鹿料理について色々教えてくれた。意外だったのが、鹿肉による肝炎感染が間違った考えだったことだそうだ。動物の健康診断によると、鹿の肝炎は5％以下、猪、豚は90％以上。つまり猪をさばいたナイフで鹿をさばくところから鹿肉に感染するそうだ。

Session party again

It is wife’s birthday, I go out for session party though. We go out for restaurant tomorrow instead. Anyway, the session party does not matter, but I need to jam with R the drummer before my leaving here.
We played together for a while.
And I kept playing guitar for 4 hours.
I need my own studio.

ほうれん草

次のほうれん草が出荷できるサイズに育った。11月以降ほうれん草だけで3作目で今回が一番いい。葉っぱが大きくて茎が短い。虫にも喰われてない。一気に250束分できてしまったので出荷するのが大変だ。

Kerosene

Local carpenter has given me the wood after dismantling the house, and I cut them into pieces and use them as fire wood. A truck of wood gives us a month hot bath in the winter time. As long as I use fire wood for heating bath, I do not spend kerosene at all.

キャンディーキャンディー

最近You Tubeでキャンディーキャンディーを見ている。あの少女アニメのキャンディーキャンディだ。
僕らの世代なら男女問わずほぼ100％の知名度だと思うが、僕はストーリーを知らない。妹がいるので子どもの頃少しは見たが、登場人物にアンソニー、イライザ、アルバートさん、テリー、がいて、キャンディーは大人になったら戦場の看護婦さんになる、くらいしか知らない。
見始めると、世界名作劇場のアニメよりも面白い。ストーリーは子どもには難しい。だから見なかったんだと思う。
アニーがポニーの家出身であることを隠すためにキャンディーとの友情まで犠牲にしたこと、キャンディーがアンソニーに王子さまの事を話したり、テリーにアンソニーのことを話した乙女心の複雑さ、なんてものが何にも考えてなかった小学生の僕に分かるわけがない。

Flowering stalk

Garland chrysanthemum is disheveled, as it grows very thick because of spring days. Now it needs serious hair cut. I cut off thick old branches and the wind can go through the stocks. And I believe it is effective for preventing flowering stalk. In the other way, I am truing to keep plants away from flowering stalk by giving plenty of nitrogen and control the temperature stable as much as possible by making shade temporally.

F1

憧れの男の家でえげつないことを聞いたなぁ。
F1のあり方が変わってきているという。
雄しべの無い、つまり生殖能力の無い突然変異体を使って、完全に次世代を生まないF1が作られているそうだ。それが広がると自家採取できず種会社に頼らないといけないだけでなく、そんなもの食べて大丈夫なのかと思わせる。
生殖能力無いものを食べると生殖能力が育たないのでは・・・。そんな想像がされる。

有機農業推進法や有機JAS法にはF1についての規制はされていないが、そこを守らなかったら何農業がそこを守るんだ？

Watching

As my training at masters’ field was finished, in these days, I have been in my green house. However it is quite small. It has 2a (200 square meters) space. And I stay there for 4, 5 hours. What my doing there is watching. Watching the plants from the standing position or sitting position again and again. And I see something new.
Today I see one new thing.
It is not good to leave the ping pong ball size organic fertilizer which is made from rice bran, because warms live in there. And the material rice bran should be used until it is fresh to avoid warms to live in it.

お別れ会

僕らが住んでる梶原8組の皆さんが僕らのために送別会をしてくれるという。なんとありがたい。
会場は組長さんの家。立派な畳の八畳間が二つ並んでいる。幅が30cmほどあるしっかりした梁と紅ガラが印象的だった。
最低の弟子で新規就農者から嫌われている僕でも、この区内だけでは別だ。ホンマにみんな僕らが過ごしよいよう色々手を尽くしてくれる。表の奥さんは妻をホンマに可愛がってくれるし、裏のご夫婦は農業の支えをしてくれる、大家さんも自由にさせてくれる、組長さんは日役で集まったときには必ず声をかけてくれて仲間に入れてくれようとしてくれる、組の人たちは不慣れな僕らに嫌な顔ひとつしない。
田舎暮らしと言えば失礼に当たるが、これが田舎暮らしの良さだと思う。こんないい人達ならみんなかなり年配だけど懇親旅行のひとつも一緒にさせてもらえばよかったなぁ。

Kumiyama, again

I need drive to Kumiyama again, to wife’s parents’ house, to take measurements of the front door, as it needs to be exchanged for new tenant.
After measurement, we went to a DIY shop to look for paint for wall paper.
We decided to take care of new front door, repaint wall of kitchen and living room and exchange the surface paper of sliding door. Even if we do not take any bond from the new tenant, we like to show our welcome to them. And we like these kind of work.

憧れのあの男

憧れのあの男の家に行った。
顔を合わせるのは今日で3回目なんだが、FBを通じて僕は彼を良く知っている。
何故僕が彼のファンかと言うと、彼が本物だからだ。
有機農業界の周辺には色んな活動家がいる。
例えば電気。原発に反対しておきながら、エネルギーをたくさん使う生活をしているような活動家が多い中、彼は電気をほとんど使わない。家には、電子レンジ、冷蔵庫、TV、掃除機、どころか、ガス器具もない。あるのは、薪ストーブだけ。そこで暖を取って調理をする。
そいいう生活をしているから賢い。パートナーも賢い。人間のバランスがいい。なんというか、威圧感が無く近寄りやすい。いわゆるいいことしてる活動家ってのは、見せびらかし心がいくら隠しても見え隠れするものなのだが、彼には無い。
多くのそういう人に出会ったが、彼は群を軽く抜いている、流れのピラミッドの頂点に近い。

Kodawarou

An owner of vegetable shop, whom Mr.M introduced to us, visits our farm in the morning. He has been in vegetable society for long time with working for someone and opened his own shop named Kodawarou 6 month ago. Kodawarou means "be particular". And he is particular about something on vegetable. Almost of time, I guess, it is quality and variety. The shop is located in Mondosou, Nishinomiya, Hyogo. I am not familiar to that place, but I am very sure that it is the place to have a shop. Anyway, he is quite nice guy then I think and I hope we will be good friends in the future.

春の準備

週間天気予報によると丹波もそろそろ暖かくなるようなので、春の準備をする。
草を徹底的にひいた。種が熟してそうな奴は外に持ち出した。天井の二重カーテンを撤去した。2.4M のプチプチを一人で巻くいい方法を見つけた。それから遮光ネットを取り付けた。
もう少し遮光ネットが必要だ。

Recover 3 days

Busy day, as I have been away home for 3 days, there are things to do.
First, green house. In spite of no water for 3 days, plants look OK. And the record of min and max temperatures are quite OK for these days. Spinach which I seed a week ago geminated. And I seed another batch of spinach. And I pruned the garland chrysanthemum and rocket.
Second, front door for exchange. As the front door of wife’s parents’ house is out of standard size, it is not easy to fine the right size. However, I found the order made shop and its price is quite low. I contacted to him right away, and the deal is done.
Third, appointment with T. Before our leaving for Ushimado, I gotta see T whom I am big fun
Right, things are done.

牛窓枚方久御山暖かい

この週末、牛窓、枚方、久御山、で過ごし、天気もよかったおかげで、暖かかった。上着を持って出るのを忘れたので、薄着で寒かったのだが、昼なら外に出られないほどでもない。

久御山の家を人に貸す予定で、その人の希望は玄関の錠を新しくして欲しいというものだったが、プレゼントの気持ちとして玄関の扉ごと交換する。敷金礼金を貰わないけれどそれくらいはやることにした。これはドイツで家を借りたときオーナーから布団セットを貰ったことに影響されての事だ。
引越しのときは物入りだし、そのとき思いもしないプレゼントは嬉しいだろう。

丹波に帰ると雪が降っていた。なんてこったい。

Prodigy

Tomato farm which I will belong to is run by its executive director. I think he is genius, because he programmed the liquid fertilizer supplying system by himself and he makes very good tomato. Of cause, the newest technology unable to do, its ability supports the agriculture very much. What I want to say, he is the only one parson who understand technology and plant physiologic I have ever seen for these 3 years. It will be fun to learn from him.

岡山いいな

牛窓に家探しに行く。今日見せてもらった家もいい家だった。そのあと会った地元の名士Oさんは穏やかな人だった。聞くところによるとものすごい大家の旦那様だそうだ。
午後は、県民局に行く。僕らを担当してくれている人も、いやその人に限らず、どういう訳だか、岡山の人は、役所、JA、農家、家主、商店、どこ行っても、親切だ。
夜は岡山市で過ごすんだが、金曜だというのに大騒ぎしている人がいない。町には仕事上がりのサラリーマン、若い人、がいて見慣れた風景なんだが、嬉しいことにミナミでよくいる、幅とって歩くコワイヒトがいない。女の子は神戸風にオシャレで、みんな行儀がいい。
岡山かなりいいぞ。

JCM2000 DSL100 and 1960

This is what I need.
I have been thinking about that when I build my house, I like to have my music studio. It will be possible even for me if I live in the country side.
Before that, I need to collect the instruments. A good guitar amp is on the top of the list. Marshall amp head JCM2000 DSL100 and cabinet 1960 is my type.

淡路島からの研修生

師匠のところに淡路島から研修生が来た。27歳。若い。就職したことがなく、フリーターをしていたらしい。自然と向き合いたく、厳しい自然の中で農業がしたい。そして、お金もあまり要らないらしい。少しからかってしまったのだが、落ちてる服でも着ます、といっている。
彼が着ているMontbellのジャケットはどうやって買ったんだろう。
ま、いいとして。
少し作業を一緒にしていると、こいつがいいやつだと分かる。いい人について勉強してお金ごときで困らないような人生を進んでほしいと思う。

Good accident

I believe in the fate and good accidents.
I have been thinking about M.M, as I need to ask him about the leaf vegetables which will be ready for dispatch in the end of March. Especially spinach, as it is on season. Anyway I’ve been thinking about him in the morning.
And early afternoon he showed up to my green house, and he told to introduce the cool vegetable shops in Nishinomiya.

有給休暇を取ろう！

日本の会社では何故だか有給休暇が取りにくくなっている。労働基準法にしっかりと記載されている被雇用者の当然の権利なんだけれど取りにくい。いい顔する人はマズいない。
今の自分は被雇用者なので事務局に相談したが、普段にも増して、お乞食さんのように扱われる。お乞食さんにもあんなひどい態度はとらないがなぁ。
22ヶ月勤めたので有給休暇は累積で21日ある。それを全部消化すると、明日からずっと休みということになる。
You gotta fight for your right to party!

New tenant

Wife’s parents’ house, none have lived in for a year, as the ex-tenant family moved out. And we had counted on the lent as our income, but it has stopped. Moreover, a house needs someone to live in for keeping it fresh.
Then yesterday, a closed neighbour rung up wife and told her friend family liked to live there. Then today we are in wife’s parent’ house to see them.
Wife show the house to them and explained in detail. One hour later, the family decided to move in very soon.
Wife was saying that her parents brought new tenant to settle our financial matter. I think in the same way.

Y農園

昨日奈良県宇陀市のY農園を見学させてもらった。丹波市有機の里づくり推進協議会がバスツアーを組んでくれたのでそのバスに乗った。久しぶりに自分で運転しない乗り物に乗ったので、片道3時間の道中たっぷり本が読めた。
Y農園の社長の話によると、紆余曲折有り11年目の今は、4.5haのハウスで葉物を栽培しているそうだ。売上げが1.2億。それに対して肥料代が100万円以下だそうだ。自作の堆肥を地元の廃棄物（米ぬか、漢方薬カス、コーヒーカス、樹木チップ、収穫残渣）をタダで貰っている。従業員は、研修生入れて30名、他に学生が25名。有機農業の学校を併設しているので学生がいる。それで有機JASを取得している。
こういう人を雇い入れることのできる有機農業こそ憧れだったのだが、いざ見てみると味気なく、師匠の少量多品目で労働力は無料の研修生に頼んでいる有機農業が色鮮やかに思えた。
イカンイカン。

2 years training

Let me talk about my training which I have taken for 21 months.
I am paid to take the training of organic agriculture. I get about JPY150,000 for month, which is after tax and includes health insurance, unemployment insurance, welfare pension and half of rent. I have worked and learn in master’s farm 3 days a week. These 3 days are his shipping day, so that he needs a hand. In the first year it worked alright, as all I saw was fresh to me, but in the second year, it gets bored and I was not satisfied, as I felt master just needs labour for free, and he has not taught me the skill which I want.
However, this matter is settled when I reached a conclusion. He is an active person and I am a business man.

農業の入り口

2010年6月1日に始まった研修は2012年3月31日に終わる。
その間22ヶ月間、僕の場合、週3日師匠の少量多品目農場で働いて、残りの4日は集落内に借りた小さな自習農地で自分の農業をする。研修前に描いていた目標とする農家像と今現在目標としている農家像はとは大きく違う。研修前は、少量多品目で季節野菜を栽培し野菜ボックスを消費者に届け、都会の人たちのためにレンタル農地を設け野菜塾を開催し、共同生活できるゲストハウスを併設する、という多様なものだった。希望にあふれているが、ある有機農家が、チャンチャラ可笑しい、と言った意味が今は分かる。今の農家像は、有機でトマトを周年栽培し、人を雇い、農家を育てたい、と思っている。かなりシンプルになってしまったが、基本は変わっていない。都会の人・働く人と農業の距離を縮めたいのだ。
そういう意味では、少量多品目有機農業を研修先にすることは、農業界を広く見渡すことが出切るので、農業の入り口としてよかったと思っている。
